"Born in Budapest. He graduated from the Hungarian Music Academy. In the late 70s he made his name as a musician and composer. As a musician, Szemző was the founder of the acclaimed Hungarian modern ensemble Group 180 and The Gordian Knot Company. In recent years his interest has turned increasingly to film as well. His latest film is the 'Invisible Story' (8mm/video, colour, Duna Workshop / Gordioso Film, 2009). (2011)" (Source : c3)
