Depuis 1928, l’Archivio Storico delle Arti Contemporanee (ASAC) est chargé de conserver et valoriser le patrimoine documentaire de la Biennale de Venise, récolté de 1895 à aujourd'hui.
"Based on an idea by Wladimiro Dorigo, the Audiovisual Workshop of the ASAC [Historical Archive of Contemporary Arts] of Venice Biennale was created in 1969, in order to video document exhibitions, artistic, theatrical, musical and dance performances promoted by the Body. Angelo Bacci was employed as managing technician of the Workshop".
